Business Analyst/Project Manager Rotational Program

CNA's Business Analyst/Project Manager Rotational Trainee Program offers a rewarding career path for individuals interested in developing consultative skills and learning how to leverage technology to drive business results. As a trainee, you will be given challenging, innovative assignments that provide real-world experience in applying IT knowledge and business education to analyze needs, identify solutions and scope project plans.

Program Description
This program provides an opportunity to work alongside Information Technology professionals and individuals from other business areas to identify and document requirements for enhancing existing technology or systems. Additionally, you will have access to:
 

  • In-depth information about CNA, the insurance industry and IT's role in helping the company further its strategies.
  •  
  • A dedicated manager and a committed mentor who will guide you throughout the program and your career entry point at CNA.
  •  
  • Opportunities to meet members of our senior leadership team and learn about their personal experiences in IT and the insurance industry.

  • Professional and personal development activities and ongoing feedback and coaching on performance.



Upon completion of the program, you may have the opportunity to choose the business analyst or project management career path.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or any other related majors.
  •  
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
  •  
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  •  
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
  •  
  • Superior technology and analytical skills.
  •  
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  •  
  • Relevant work experience preferred.
  •  
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.



The ability to:
 

  • Anticipate issues and challenges affecting enterprise applications and recommend changes to address programs, databases and application design.
  •  
  • Identify and align business processes and procedures to create business improvement.
  •  
  • Proactively identify, resolve and drive improvements resulting in a positive end-user experience.
  •  
  • Identify, create and promote improvements throughout the development of the project life cycle.
  •  
  • Interest in the insurance industry.
  •  
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
