When it comes to Dentists Professional Liability insurance, our Dentist’s Advantage program offers tailored coverages and expertise to support dental professionals.
CNA has underwritten a professional liability insurance program for dental professionals since 1984. In November 2017, we partnered with Aon Affinity Insurance Services to act as managing general underwriter (MGU) for a mutually exclusive program, Dentist’s Advantage, to enhance client service capabilities and build on a successful market platform.
Dentist’s Advantage is one of the country’s leading providers of malpractice insurance for individuals and small groups of dental professionals. CNA is also one of the largest providers to the Large Group/Dental Service Organization (DSO) marketplace. We are the lead corporate sponsor for the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
In addition, Dentist’s Advantage is supported by the National Society of Dental Practitioners (NSDP). Attorneys, dentists and risk managers with the NSDP provide expertise and advice to help the program meet the professional liability needs of practicing dentists.
As part of our Dentists Professional Liability insurance program, we also provide dedicated Claims and Risk Control professionals who deliver deep expertise and consistently achieve industry-leading Net Promoter Scores.
Accessing our Dentists Program
Dentist’s Advantage is a countrywide program with limited sub-producer access. It is mutually exclusive and available to all licensed general dentists and dental specialists through filed admitted rates and forms countrywide. DSO/large groups are loss rated and issued on surplus lines paper. Our Dentists Professional Liability insurance solutions are underwritten in American Casualty Company of Reading, PA (ACCO) on filed and admitted forms in all states. Plus, we offer the ability to tailor coverage to needs of the DSO marketplace on Columbia Casualty surplus lines form.
