Accounting Rotational Business Associate (ARBA)
The Accounting Rotational Business Associate (ARBA) program is a two-year rotational program designed to prepare highly talented Accounting and Finance graduates for leadership roles in Corporate Finance. The program offers hands-on training in a variety of financial disciplines. The ARBA program has been an integral part of CNA for more than 30 years. Graduates of the program hold a variety of positions throughout the organization, including numerous senior leadership roles.
Program Description The program is approximately two years in duration and includes two to four rotations in areas such as:
Financial Reporting
Insurance Accounting
Investment Accounting
Management Information Reporting
Internal Audit
Reinsurance Accounting
Accounting
Controls Financial Planning & Analysis
Tax
Program participants develop numerous contacts and have opportunities to interact with senior management. The program promotes continuous learning and includes leadership training courses and a finance training curriculum. Management supports participants through a formal mentoring program and ongoing training, development and performance feedback. Program participants receive a competitive salary and are eligible for a performance-based bonus and CPA exam reimbursement. Upon completion of the program, participants will be considered for post-rotational opportunities within CNA.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 12 hours of Accounting credits preferred.
A minimum 3.2 GPA is required (overall and major).
CPA-eligible preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
The ability to influence and develop collaborative relationships.
Interest in the insurance industry.
Interest in CNA as a long-term career opportunity.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
