Preparing For the Risks of Return-to-Work? Find Valuable Resources, All in One Place

Now, more than ever, your clients need assistance in mitigating employment risks. Resources regarding employment risks which have arisen because of the COVID-19 pandemic have been posted on Beyond HR® to assist CNA policyholders that purchase Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI).*

As various state “stay-at-home” mandates begin to lift, employment issues will arise as workers return to the physical workplace. Additional resources will continue to be added to Beyond HR® to address these emerging risks as companies begin to call back employees to physical work locations during the COVID-19 pandemic. All materials related to the pandemic have been added to a resource page, which can be easily accessed by clicking the “COVID-19 Resources” button on Beyond HR’s landing page after logging in.

Model policies that specifically address employees returning to work have been posted on Beyond HR®, including “Virus, Bacteria and Disease Control” and “Social Distancing.” Four new model notices have been posted on the COVID-19 resource page and in the Knowledge Vault relating to returning employees:

  • Model Form: Notification of Eligibility to Temporarily Work From Home
  • Model Form: Notification to End Work From Home and Return to Designated Worksite
  • Model Form: Notification for Furloughed Employees to Return to Work
  • Model Form: Notification of Termination Related to Organization Not Reopening After Mandate

Also posted on Beyond HR® is a three-part RiskTrends™ podcast series: “What Employers Can Expect After COVID-19 Mandates Are Lifted.” Topics include starting up after a shutdown, health and safety concerns in a COVID-19 environment, and new litigation traps after stay-at-home mandates are lifted.

Consider reaching out to your clients who purchase EPL coverage through CNA, as these complimentary resources provide a significant benefit – and purchasing similar resources could cost thousands of dollars. For more information about Beyond HR® or details on agent demonstration access, please contact us at specialtyriskcontrol@cna.com.

* Beyond HR® is provided on a complimentary basis to policyholders that purchase Employment Practices Liability (EPL) insurance from CNA on policies other than a Connect policy.
