On Wednesday, December 5, the LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Illinois announced Pride@CNA, the company's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans* and Queer (LGBTQ) Employee Resource Group (ERG), as the winner of their ERG of the Year award. This award recognizes ERGs that have worked with the Chamber to make strides in fostering an inclusive LGBT environment in their workplace.

LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Illinois is an organization dedicated to promoting equality by serving as a resource and advocate for businesses creating workplaces inclusive of the LGBT community.

Pride@CNA has been proud to partner with the LGBT Chamber of Commerce. By joining the Chamber's Summer Partnership, several Pride@CNA members joined the Chamber's business tent during three high-visibility Chicago summer festivals to represent CNA. In addition to marching with the Chamber during Chicago's Pride Parade, Pride@CNA also attended many of the Chamber's monthly events, such as The Connect for Employee Resource Group Leaders session, networking mixers, roundtables, and educational events.
