CNA has been named as one of two recipients presented with Gamma Iota Sigma’s GammaSAID inaugural D&I Champion of the Year award. This award recognizes exemplary efforts and demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion by the council’s Sustaining Partners. 
 
GammaSAID (Solutions for Authenticity, Inclusion, and Diversity) is a student-driven council focused on understanding and representing matters of authenticity, inclusion and diversity in the insurance industry. 
 
CNA partners with Gamma Iota Sigma by engaging with students and alumni in discussions related to Diversity and Inclusion. Steve Marohn, CNA’s Senior Vice President, San Francisco Branch Manager, leads that partnership by serving on Gamma Iota Sigma’s board. In addition to Steve’s participation, Joyce Trimuel, Chief Operations & Diversity Officer at CNA, spoke with students at this year’s annual GammaSAID conference about how she cultivates change and encourages her peers to do the same.
