Bruce Dmytrow, Senior Vice President, Healthcare, has been recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business as one of Chicago’s 2018 Notable LGBTQ Executives, which recognizes individuals in the LGBTQ community for their successes and accomplishments during the last 12 – 18 months.
In his role as a leader at CNA, Bruce has implemented strategies and tactics that have led to sustained growth and profitability, and engaged employees by leading with his heart and soul, and by example. As many have witnessed, he works tirelessly to create an environment where our winning behaviors of collaboration, innovation and inclusion are demonstrated and valued.
Bruce has also dedicated himself to and is well-known for his contributions to the LGBTQ and philanthropic communities. As an openly gay leader, Bruce has shared his story with employees as a personal testament, encouraging them to be their authentic selves at work. At CNA, he helped form CNA’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and straight ally employee resource group, Pride@CNA, which was established in 1995. Most recently, Bruce helped rollout an LGBTQ 101 presentation for this year’s Pride Month observance.
