As President of Global Property, Michael Nardiello is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of CNA’s Global Property portfolio, products and operations in the U.S., Canada and Europe (including the Hardy syndicate). Michael also oversees Global Marine and Risk Control.

Michael joined CNA in 2018 to establish the National Accounts Property business unit. Before that, Michael was Senior Vice President at Endurance (later acquired by Sompo), where he established the property underwriting unit for the Global Risk Solutions Group, targeting real estate, professional services and financial institutions clients. From 2011 to 2015, Michael served as Regional Property Executive for the Northeast Zone at AIG.

Michael began his career in 1994 at Marsh & McLennan in New York as an account representative in the Property Advisory Group. Over the course of his 18 years at Marsh, he held roles of increased responsibility within the company’s Northeast Property Advisory and Global Broking Units, including Managing Director for the New York Metro region and National Placement Leader in charge of all property placement operations for the U.S.

Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Loyola College (University) in Baltimore, Maryland.
