As President of Global Casualty, David Haas is responsible for the profitability, growth and strategic direction of CNA’s casualty products across business units, including Small Business, Middle Market, National Accounts, Construction and Healthcare.

David is an industry leader with 20 years of broad insurance experience across underwriting, distribution and branch management. David joined CNA in February 2017 and has held an array of leadership positions, including establishment of the National Accounts Casualty platform, which has been key to CNA’s reemergence within risk management. Prior to joining CNA, David worked for AIG, where he held positions of increasing responsibility within Atlanta, the Carolinas and Florida. His background includes experience in Large Cap Casualty, Environmental and Distribution Management.

David earned a bachelor’s degree in Risk Management & Insurance from Georgia State University.
