Lauran L. Cutler is Vice President for Risk Control, responsible for providing strategic and tactical direction for the Specialty Healthcare and Affinity risk control teams. The scope of responsibilities include the overall management and direction of risk control strategy for allied healthcare facilities and providers, aging services, affinity healthcare programs, and affinity accountants and lawyers' programs.  Lauran has sixteen years experience within CNA healthcare risk control and 20 years experience in healthcare organizations.  Most recently she was responsible for strategic leadership of  CNA Allied Healthcare Risk Control Team. 
 
Prior to joining CNA, Lauran held healthcare leadership positions with  operational and administrative responsibilities in healthcare organizations including assistant vice president of an academic hospital, chief operating officer for an outpatient medical/surgical clinic, and administrator of a large physician group practice. Her clinical nursing experience includes general medical/surgical care, emergency department, burn unit, open heart and surgical intensive care.

Lauran received her nursing degree from Eastern Kentucky University, maintains the designation of Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management from the American Hospital Association and Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Institute of Industrial Engineers.
