Jack Holt serves as Director of Business Resiliency Consulting for CNA. In this role, he is responsible for the assessment, development and delivery of Risk Control consulting services that enable our insureds to reduce exposures and prepare to effectively respond to disruptions regardless of cause. He also provides technical support for the most complex risk exposures to support underwriting profit.
Prior to joining CNA in March 2019 Jack worked at a global pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare and vaccine manufacturing company for 22 years directing global risk management programs for crisis management and business continuity. He was responsible for the design and implementation of policy, procedures, tools and technologies that enabled the organization to prepare and respond to business interruptions. Jack also provided resources and support for widespread events that affected people and operations, including: Iceland airspace closure (2010), Japan earthquake (2011), U.S. Superstorm Sandy (2012), West Africa Ebola Outbreak (2014), and Euro Crisis (2015).
Jack has a bachelors degree in Communications from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington and a certification as a Business Continuity Professional from the Disaster Recovery Institute International. Jack is also an active volunteer with local non-profits and served on the board of North Carolina’s State Animal Response Team to support animal welfare in disasters. He also works with the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Risk Reduction, Private Sector Advisory Board focusing on building resilient communities, cities and countries around the world.
