Workers’ Compensation

What is Workers' Compensation?

Insurance that pays for medical care and physical therapy of injured workers and helps to restore lost earnings while they are unable to work. State laws, which vary considerably, govern the amount of benefits paid and other payment stipulations.

While a financial institution doesn't seem to be a likely candidate for employee accidents, injuries can occur. When slips and falls, back strains and other on-the-job incidents happen, they can lead to injuries, medical costs and time away from serving your customers.

CNA Workers' Compensation insurance provides the necessary medical coverage and wage replacement for employees injured while performing their work. Workers' Comp also offers services to help remain on the job or return to work as soon as medically appropriate. Our Risk Control team has the information and training to help you ensure that your workplace is safe and functional. A Workplace Perception Survey can provide critical insight into how employees view your institution's commitment to safety, and our Risk Control consultants have expertise in managing health and safety programs for any size organization.

Our attentive team of underwriters, claim professionals and risk control professionals deliver the service levels you need and expect. And our School of Risk Control Excellence (SORCE®) and Return-to-Work program can further educate you and your staff. Our industry-specific materials not only make your workplace safer, they help to give you the knowledge to nurture an injured employee back to the job as quickly as medically appropriate.
