CHICAGO, June 9, 2017 — CNA today announced that the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) named Sarah Pang, Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications, CNA, as one of its 2017 Inclusion Champions. This award honors the extraordinary contributions of four insurance industry professionals working to advance diversity within the field.

Pang received the honor at the IICF Women in Insurance Global Conference Dinner on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at the Sheraton Hotel in Times Square, New York City. This year's honorees were selected from a record-high field of 27 nominated global insurance professionals.

Currently, Pang serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Chinese American Service League, Task Force Member of the Chicago is With You campaign, Steering Committee Member for the Illinois Business Immigration Coalition, Board Member of the Chicago Loop Alliance, Trustee of the Civic Federation, Life Trustee of Lincoln Park Zoo, and Board Director of the Regional Transportation Authority. She previously served as a panelist for Out and Equal, Co-Chair of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel's 2011 and 2015 transition teams, and Co-Chair of the 21st Century Commission on City Government.
