LONDON, 18 April 2018 — CNA Hardy, a leading specialist commercial insurance provider for clients within the Lloyd's and company markets, is pleased to announce its continued expansion in Asia through enhanced capabilities to transact business in Labuan, Malaysia.

Principal Officer in Asia, Rob Hands, states:

"This is an incredibly exciting time in the expansion of our business across Asia. Having a presence in this international business and financial centre enables us to lay solid foundations for enduring relationships with our global clients and producers through an enhanced product and service offering."

"Our immediate focus in Malaysia will be on the same classes of business we offer through our Singapore office. These are: Property D&F and Treaty, Construction, Marine, Power Generation, Healthcare, Financial Lines and Casualty. We will also look to develop new lines of business as our experience in the market deepens."

Dave Brosnan, CEO, CNA Hardy added:

"Obtaining an enhanced licence to do business in Labuan is the most recent development in our ongoing strategy to build out our presence in Asia. We have been part of the Lloyd's China platform since 2016 and last year saw us add new products and capabilities to our hub in Singapore including: Healthcare, Life Science and Financial Lines whilst attracting significant talent to the organisation across both new and existing lines as well as claims.
