Rose is responsible for overseeing the Healthcare risk control consultant team that for the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern zones in the U.S. She works directly with insureds, providing risk management consultant services and conducting educational programs at national and international level. Rose also serves as the publisher for VantagePoint, CNA’s educational risk management newsletter for hospitals and is on the editorial board for company’s risk management newsletter for dentists, Dental Expressions.
Prior to joining CNA, Rose was a corporate risk manager for a large integrated, multi-specialty hospital system in Pennsylvania. She began her career as a registered nurse in surgery and later held several leadership positions within that division.
Healthcare associations around the country have turned to Rose for her risk management insights. She has presented at conferences sponsored by the Puerto Rico Hospital Association and Physician Hospitals of America as well as at state-level ASHRM chapter conferences.
Rose received a nursing degree at Coatesville Hospital School of Nursing, followed by her bachelor of science degree in healthcare at Graceland College. She holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration at Wilkes University in Pennsylvania. Rose achieved the designation as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) through the American Hospital Association Certification Center.
