CNA earns perfect score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2017 Corporate Equality Index for second consecutive year.

Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s 2017 Corporate Equality Index (CEI)
CNA is proud to have earned a perfect score of 100 percent on the HRC Foundation’s 2017 CEI, the national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees.
With this perfect score comes the recognition of CNA as one of the “Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality.” This achievement is led much in part by Pride@CNA, CNA’s employee network made up of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and straight ally employees who contribute to CNA’s success through the promotion of a positive and equal workplace environment for all CNA employees, regardless of gender, gender identity or sexual orientation. Businesses that achieve a rating of 100 percent in the CEI also earn a spot in HRC’s “Buyer’s Guide,” which indicates companies, products and services that support LGBT workplace inclusion.

With more than 7,000 employees in approximately 70 offices across the globe, CNA has a longstanding tradition of supporting local nonprofit organizations that work tirelessly to improve the quality of life in our local communities, including organizations that are important to our employees and our customers. CNA also supports the personal generosity of our employees by matching employee contributions to qualified nonprofit organizations – dollar for dollar – up to $5,000 per year.

Beyond supporting organizations financially, sustainability takes many forms at CNA, and green practices have been a part of our day-to-day operations for many years. We also have an aggressive "good practice" campaign in CNA offices worldwide, which includes recycling reminders and a variety of energy-efficiency tips.
