CHICAGO, September 3, 2014 — CNA today announced the appointment of Steve Earley as
Illinois Branch Vice President. In this role, Steve will be responsible for leading the
branch team to achieve its goals for continued growth and profitability through
strong producer relationships.
Steve has been with CNA for 27 years, most recently
serving as Vice President of the company’s Manufacturing Customer Segment driving improved sales volume and
profitability, customer focus, and product and service development.

Underwriting and Field Operations, taking opportunities across the company that
increased the breadth of his knowledge and skills, including serving as chief
of staff for North American Field Operations. In these roles, he has demonstrated
proven leadership skills and built strong relationships with the Field
organization, key retail and wholesale agency partners, as well as several of
CNA’s nationally affiliated industry associations.
