George Agyen
Mid-Atlantic Zone Officer
  George is Mid-Atlantic Zone Officer for one of CNA's six geographic zones. He is responsible for aligning the branch structure with CNA's strategy to drive profitable growth. The Mid-Atlantic Zone includes Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia and includes offices in Baltimore, Parsippany, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Reading and Richmond. In addition to leading the Mid-Atlantic Zone, George will also establish and manage a new branch office in Washington, D.C.


George joined CNA in 2003 as branch underwriting director for its Milwaukee office. In 2005, he was named vice president of that office; and, in 2008, named vice president for the Chicago branch (in Lombard, IL). He began his insurance career with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as an underwriter in 1991.

George earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts and a master's degree from Bentley College in Massachusetts. He holds the CPCU, ARM and ARe professional insurance designations.
